What Is the Best Month To Visit Las Vegas?

While there is never a bad time to visit Las Vegas there are a few "better" times depending on whether you enjoy the desert heat.  March thru early May and late August thru October both offer warm daytime temperatures and plesant nights.  Additionally crowds as well as room rates tend to be calmer during those seasons.  Mid-summer is very warm which, if you enjoy the pool areas, could also be perfect for your trip.

What Should I Do On My First Trip To Vegas?

There are so many fantastic things to do in Vegas but for a first timer there are some definite "must-see"s. 

• The Fountains of Bellagio : Without a doubt a must see as a first timer!  This amazing water show against the backdrop of the Bellagio Hotel and Casino never fails to impress with its massive fountains that dance to a great mix of modern and classic music.  With frequent showtimes its also easy to fit into a busy trip.
• Anything Cirque du Soleil : Seriously!  Their shows are an amazing mix of aerobatics, acrobatics, comedy and visual magic.  You will struggle with your friends in any attempt describe the show or the experince afterward but they will be able to read the excitement in your reaction.   Mystere is an exellent Cirque "starter" show if you're not sure.  Understand, however, that they go up in both production and wonder after that.
• Fly Over the Las Vegas Strip:  As with many locations with massive proportions sometimes the best way to take it all in is from the air.  Its a special thrill all its own when you see the playground of Las Vegas from the seat of a helicopter.
